Easter Goodie Bags

I decided to make some Easter Goodie bags for my son Tripp's Easter party at his daycare and thought I would share.   I found these adorable carrot shaped goodie bags at Dollar General and bought some assorted candies, stickers and plastic Easter eggs for fillers.  I put some candy straight into the bags, and some in the eggs and placed them in the bags.  I made some custom favor tags and tied them on with green ribbon.  Simple, adorable and cheap!

Past Endeavors

Just wanted to show you a little of the work I have done in the past.  Bear with me, the photos are not that great, but I am improving :)  Practice makes perfect!!

These are a few of my business card designs.  The top one my business card at the newspaper and the second is my Leslie Earnest Studios business card.

My niece Addie's 4th birthday invitation...Strawberry Shortcake!

My nephew Alex's 5th birthday invite.  Spiderman, shocker! lol

My niece Caylee's 5th birthday invite.

My nephew Lathan's 2nd birthday invite.
My nephew Alex's 6th birthday party invites.  Seeing a pattern here??! lol.  Yes, my nephew likes his superheroes :)

Alex's birthday banner.  I took an actual photo of this, but it didn't turn out very well, so...

One of the signs that we made for Alex's party.
The table decorations from my sister-in-law Candice's baby shower.  Below are the party logos that you see lying on the table.  Just loved the zebra/polka dot theme!

These are from a Halloween party that me and my sisters hosted.  The Sinister Skulls is a cream cheese skull with pineapple salsa.  Yum!!

Just wanted to share some of the stuff from my past.  Thank you for taking the time to check it out!  Until next time... ;)

50th Motorcycle Birthday Bash

This party was a surprise 50th birthday party for my father-in-law Ron.  We had quite a chore keeping all of this a secret from him, but pulled it off!  He was very surprised when he pulled up from a motorcycle ride with his son and brother-in-law and all of his family was standing outside waiting for him.

Table decorations. Printables by Leslie Earnest Studios.  I also did the flower arrangements.  We didn't have the punch in the bowls yet, but... lol.  Don't look too close at the cake!  My sister and I decorated it ourselves.  Not bad for our second time to work with fondant.  At least it tasted good ;)

Instead of cupcake toppers, we had cheese and veggie picks.

Another flower arrangement.

The banner that I made for the birthday boy.  I wish that we would have got a closer-up picture.

I really enjoyed putting together this party with my mother-in-law Cathy for my husband's dad Ron.  The decorations were fun to build and everyone really enjoyed the party.

Call it a Party!: This is a stick up!

Check out this blog post by Caryn at Call it a Party! I designed graphics for her son Kylan's Cops and Robbers party. Thank you Caryn for featuring me in your post!

Call it a Party!: This is a stick up!: "I give my kids the liberty of choosing a 'theme' for their birthday parties each year. They tend to get very creative and sometimes it..."

Tripp's Construction Second Birthday Party

I want to share the party that I did for my son Tripp's 2nd birthday.  A Construction party!

Under Construction Invitation
I like to start with the invitation design whenever I plan a party, then I take elements from that invitation to make the banner and other design elements.

Tripp's party banner

The refreshment table.  I borrowed some road signs and cones from the local County building.  They really pulled the party together.
Table-top decorations.  The tables are lined with black trash bags, and the borders are real caution tape.
Party hats!  I found these at Party Galaxy.
This is the dirt cake that I made.  It went over REALLY well, and I have had requests to make it at future events.  I thought that doing the cake in the back of a dump truck would fit the theme nicely.
Dump Truck Cake.  This cake was made by Tripp's aunt Candice Vasquez.  I think she did a great job and the red velvet cake was to die for!
And last, but not least!
The Birthday Boy!
I hope to have more parties posted soon.  I will definitely have a Cops and Robbers party up soon, and a 50th Motorcycle Birthday Bash.  Also coming soon... an adorable girly bug party for my niece Paige's 1st birthday!
